This happened to me also. Now i dont play loose even at the beginning of a tournament when blinds are very low. Its a waste of chips to play loosely at any time of tournament.

Well you can play a bit loosely at the very start of the tournaments when the blinds are 20 and your stack is 1500. I think you can handle an investment of 20 in at least a mediocre hand in the beginning of a tourney

I think that depends on which position you are in. If you are on the button sure, but in early position I wouldn't advise it.
