Default What poker rooms have the best tournaments?

Which poker rooms do you think have the best tournaments that you like to play in?

PokerStars has some pretty good tournaments and the Sunday Millions is one of the biggest tournaments in the world.

Currently I've been sticking with PokerStars and have been doing pretty good at keeping my bankroll increasing, placing in the money regularly.

What are your favorite poker rooms for tournaments?

The Daily Double at Full Tilt is my favorate tourny. It's $12 and if you play both A and B, you can win jackpot money if you cash in both tournies. Its a big hype for the normal players at Full Tilt. It runs everyday at 8:00pm central. I usually play it a few times a week.

I'm going to play at Full Tilt for a couple weeks straight so I can compare it with Poker Stars and see if I like it better or not. Hopefully I'll play well and if I catch some good cards and some weak players, maybe I'll switch for good

Cool! hope you make the switch. Post what tournaments you're gunna play and i'll join. Play the Daily Double and the Midnight Madness. The Sunday Brawl is a good one too! Its a Knockout bounty tourny with a $240 buy in. Theres a lot of satellites for it. The feild of players is huge.

I'll have to try the Daily Double and the Midnight Madness. They have those everyday right, including weekends?

How many people are usually in The Sunday Brawl? How many places in the money?

I don't think the Daily doubly and The Midnight Madness run on Sundays because the big tournies are usually on Sunday, but i'm positive they run monday thru
Saturday. I know the 1st place payout for the Sunday brawl is XXX,XXX. and the field is about 1000 players on average.

1000 players is a good number of players for a tournament. I am going to check that out on Sunday then. Thanks for the info young_mack

Is the quality of players pretty good or will I get lucky and still find a few fish?

The play is usually pretty good in higher buy in tournies. BUT in the knockout bounty tournies, a lot of people try to be over aggresive to collect a few bounties. Don't get into this groove. Just play it like a normal tourny. You'll notice almost half of the feild will be gone at about the 1st or almost 2nd break(which is every hour). Most players don't play the sunday brawl to cash but rather get a few bounties to get thier buyin back. I'll guess about 70% of the field will be playing like this. Just play solid and you'll be fine. Let me know when you're gunna play. I might join or i'll just rail. Whats your FTP name??? mine is "young mack"

hope i helped.

Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars are by far the best poker rooms online at the present time. That may change in a few years as other poker rooms become bigger and better. It looks like Full Tilt is getting it's praise here. I notice the forum has links for bonus codes at poker rooms at the bottom of the forum if anyone is interested.

I agree. The laws force too many poker rooms to change their rules and they lost a lot of players. Even if things were to go back to the way they were before, PokerStars and Full Tilt will still remain ahead for quite some time.
