Default how to beat players that just play thier cards...

Hi, i just started playing poker recently, and i am doing pretty well, last week i went to my local snooker club and tried out a tourney for £10 entry, about 25 people. 3 tables. the things is everyone there plays SO TIGHT that they ONLY play the good hands. i.e. top 10 etc...

i'd normally try and bluff a bit. but i had such a bad start, couple of bluff got called. couldnt get any hands all night, after one or 2 bad beats i managed to have so little chips that even my all-ins were not effective anymore. due to big blinds.

any ideas on how i should start against people that play their hands and play really tight-aggressive? thanks.

u can say u had a lot of bad luck that night, but that musn't be a buzzkill if u know how to play on real tables . the thing is , u can always try to read their reactions on some calls or raises don't play some first week hands, sit back and watch them throw their chips u have to find the week hearted one that is potentialy the underdog and play all hands with him or u can just wait for hands that aren't played u can have an advantage in that when u are big blind

well lol ...

if you know that they are only playing premium hands , and then probably staying only when they hit flops.... what's the problem?

anyone that has a one demensional game like this can easily be taken advantage of.....

U know that they won't be bluffing.... you know that you can bluff them ... ETC....

Well i think you should also play tight agressive, because if you are loose you will loose money against them.

If you know they were only playing premium hands, you would be able to take advantage of that by playing tight-aggressive like PokerDude mentions.

If you know they are only playing premium hands, you would know if they missed the flop most of the time.

yeah, hopefully you have better luck. Let us know how it goes.

Don't try to bluff at every pot but make good raises and bets at opportune times. You already know they will only call a bluff if they have a hand so you don't need to make a big bluff to get the info you need.

Well, hopefully you'll keep learning and getting better. Read as much poker strategy books and articles you can and learn from any mistakes you make, but hopefully you won't make any more mistakes ;-)
