Default Gus Hansen in Omaha - Analyze his hand

Gus Hansen takes down a pretty good pot in this high stakes poker game. How do you think both players played?

Gus obviously was betting his straight draw and MrSmokey1 had to call with his Qs.

Gus was playing a little loose but thats typical for Gus. He's a wild player who bets a strait draw like aces. He actually went on tilt later that day. I watched him like all day on the 24th. He made about 100k then lost it all in two hands.

Yeah, I think that's what makes it so hard to make a read on Gus Hansen. He will make bets that make it look like he has a bigger hand than he does. Sure you might catch him once in a while, but there are times he does have a big hand and people get rocked. Tough to play against Gus that's for sure.

Wild players are the toughest. Tom Dwan plays just like him. I love to watch Tom Dwan and Phil Ivey. They try and out bluff eachother with nothing. They'll have the pot to 90k with 7 high.

Haha yeah! I saw something similar where they both had weak hands, I think it was Mike Matusow and Daniel Negreanu. Matusow bluffed with something like 8 or 9 high and Negreanu got a read on Mike or something because he raised all in with 2 3 suited but he hit nothing on the board.

That's fun to see in poker!

It's depends on the stakes. The lower stakes online players will call with practically anything it seems. The higher the stakes the less likely you're run into a donkey calling your bluffs with any two cards.

No, for Omaha you only can use two of the cards you are holding and 3 that are on the board.
