Have you ever got a royal flush?

I have been playing poker for quite a while but i have never holded a royal flush in my hand i actually saw it two times at the tables i was playing, but i never got one

I also never had the chance to hold it in my arm and i saw it only once, but that royal flush was ridiculous. The guy wen all in with J9o against AA preflop and got the royal flush

I have had it only once during my whole year of poker play. The probability of getting it is very small, so you have to play alot to get it. Some people play for years and never get it.

Well you are right. The probability of getting it is 1 in the 2,598,960 possible hands. The calculation of the probability looks like this: 5/52 X 4/51 X 3/50 X 2/49 X 1/48

the odds of getting a royal flush are about 1 in 350 000

not nearly as bad as previously stated....

although its still more likely for you to be hit by lightning....


I have had 1 live Royal flush... in a .50/$1 cash game ( pot was about $130 )

and have hit six or seven in the last 3 years playing online .. ( at least six... I sorta lost count lol)


all were in real money MTTs

I have played many MANY MANY hands over the years of poker and I still haven't had a royal flush. I have seen them at the same table, but never had one myself. I've had many straight flushes though.

I have got a Royal flush only once. Did not help me a whole lot though since the pot was tiny.

I have a feeling that's what will happen when I finally hit a Royal Flush. It will be for a very small pot. I can't believe I haven't had a Royal Flush yet. I'm due for one I tell ya

WOW i finally got my first royal flush and it was a good one. I played at ,25 - ,50 holdem nl.

Got AKs preflop in middle position raised to 2$ and even got reraised to 8$.
Two people including me called.
The flop was Ah Qs Ts.
One guy bets 10$ i call, another one wents all in i call.
First guy folds (later he said that he was holding KK), i call.
My opponents hand AA
Flop: 6d
River: Js

I collect the pot of 130$+
