I usually always play online because the rake is lower. It's impossible to play live poker at a casino and make money after the rake and tipping the dealer.
The only reason I play live is to get out of the house and learn about live play for when I go play in a live event. I don't want to feel like a fish out of waterno pun intended. |

Playing live tournaments is really all I'll do. Online rake isn't that bad, plus you can get rakeback. Also being in your own home makes online more profitable, as well as the obvious reason: being able to play more tables at once.

I only play in live tournaments and in home games with friends when it comes to live poker play. I wouldn't play at casino cash tables, YET. Maybe when I have a lot more experience. The area where I live only has Texas Hold'em tournaments one day a week though and occasionally there will be charity tournaments for different prizes and cash.
Online is the only place I play cash tables and of course plenty of online tournaments. |

They just opened tables by me in West Virginia. The problem is that the deals have trouble reading the board when they deal Omaha hi lo. This can sometimes anger casino patrons. This is another reason why Online is better.

Online play is much more easier - you can play more hands, you can make any decisions and youll never meet the guy who you won all the money from
but i do really like live play, because its much more fun ![]()
