Dan Harrington
Dan Harrington also known, as ‘Action Dan’ because of his poker playing that is tight and conservative and not just poker is his game he also plays chess and backgammon in the championship category.
As a career he worked as an attorney and he was a part of a team caringly referred to as the Mission in Possible team who used mathematical formulas modeled after the MIT standards to calculate roulette odds and could come within a 40% margin.
Unlike many other poker players Dan Harrington has continued to work, though not in the field of law but in his company named Anchor Loan. His main employees consist of poker pros; some of his employees have included Jeff Lipman and Steve Pollock.
He has in let it be known in interviews that a poker player should be disciplined, and losses should not affect how a person plays the game and the proof that his out look on how to play poker shows in his amount of wins as well as his business sense.

Dan Harrington was born in 1945 in Cambridge Massachusetts and attended Suffolk University; he was a 1971 Massachusetts Chess Champion and a 1980 Champion World Cup of Backgammon.
One of the items that stand out about Harrington is the green Boston Red Socks baseball cap he is often seen in and the seriousness with which he plays poker, just as he is in real estate and the stock market.
While he might not be seen very often it is not unusual to see him playing poker in the World Series of Poker as his past record shows. His record of wins and his business sense can be found on many online poker sites as his seriousness for poker has placed him at several final tables where he left not only in the money but as the last man at the final table.
