Razz - Rules and Betting rounds

Razz
Razz is played in the same way as Seven-Card Stud with the difference that the lowest 5-card hand win instead of the highest. A-2-3-4-5 is the best possible hand in this game. (flush and straight doesn't count). The goal is to put together the lowest 5-card hand from 3 cards dealt faced down and 4 cards dealt faced up. All card are individual, there are no community cards in this game.

The betting round is also reversed in Razz compared to Seven-Card Stud. For example the player with the highest card is forced to open in Razz. In Seven-Card Stud it's the player with the lowest card that commence the so called bring-in-betting.

Third Street – three cards are dealt (two faced up, one faced down)
Before the game can begin, the players must place the antes on the table. When that is done three cards are dealt to each player, one at a time in clockwise direction. The first two cards are dealt faced down but the third card is dealt faced up. The player with the highest "faced up card" commence the betting round with a forced bet called "bring-in". After that the betting round continues and the other players can choose to call, raise or fold. This betting round is called”Third Street”.

Fourth Street – forth card is dealt (faced up)
When the first betting round is completed a forth card is dealt to each player. This card is dealt faced up Each player still in the pot now have two cards faced down and two cards faced up. During this round the player with the lowest card commence the betting round. This betting round is called "Fourth Street" .

Fifth Street – fifth card is dealt (faced up)
When the second betting round is completed a fifth card is dealt to each player. This card is also faced up. The remaining players now have two cards faced down and three cards faced up. The betting during this round follows the same procedure as the one on Fourth Street, the player with the lowest card commence the betting round. This betting round is called "Fifth Street".

Sixth Street – sixth card is dealt (faced up)
When the third betting round is completed a sixth card is dealt to each player. This card is also faced up. The remaining players now have two cards faced down and four cards faced up. The betting during this round follows the same procedure as the one on Fifth Street, the player with the lowest card commence the betting round. This betting round is called "Sixth Street".

Seventh Street – seventh card is dealt (faced down)
When the forth betting round is completed a seventh card is dealt to each player. This card is dealt faced down. The remaining players now have three cards faced down and four cards faced up. The betting during this round follows the same procedure as the one on Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Street, the player with the lowest card commence the betting round. This betting round is called "Seventh Street".

When all the bets are completed the player that made the last betting shows his cards. The other players shows their cards if they have a better (in this game lower) hand. If their hands are not better they either show or much their cards. The lowest poker hand takes the pot.
