Omaha Hi/Low
Omaha High/Low is basically played the same way Omaha is. All players are dealt four hole cards. During the game, five community cards are dealt faced up on the table. The player should combine tow of his hole/pocket cards with three of the community cards to create the best possible hand. The difference is that in Omaha High/Low the highest and the lowest hand split the pot. The player can uses two of his hole cards and three if the community cards to create the high hand and he can use the same or a different combination to create the low hand.

The Blinds
In Omaha High/Low a dealer button is used, just like in Texas Hold'em, to see where the cards should be dealt from. This dealer button is moved one step to the left after every round. The small and the big blind are posted by the two players left to the dealer button.

Pre flop
When the blinds have been placed on the table, each player is dealt four cards faced down. These cards are called pocket or hole cards. The player to the left of the big blind starts the betting round by calling, raising or folding his cards. The first betting rounds are finished when all players have either called the big blind or folded.

The Flop
When the first betting round is complete the dealer deals 3 cards on the table faced up. These cards are called the flop and can be seen by all players. The player to the left of the dealer button starts the second betting round by either checking or betting. If a player bets into the pot the other players have to decide if they want to call, raise or fold. The second betting round is over when all players have either put an equal amount in to the pot or folded.

The Turn
When the second betting round is complete the dealer puts out one more card faced up on the table. This card is called The Turn or 4th Street. This card is also showed to all players at the table. The third betting round works the same way as the second round. The third betting round is over when all players have either put an equal amount in to the pot or folded.

The River
The dealer puts out the last and 5th card called the river or 5th street. This card is showed to all players and can be used by any player to combine a hand. A fourth and last betting round occurs and works exactly the same way as the second and third betting round.

Showdown
After the fourth and last betting round, it's time for the showdown where the players still left get to show their hands. The player must use two of his pocket cards and three of the community cards to create the hands. In Omaha High/Low the pot is split 50-50 between the best high hand and the best qualified low hand. A qualified low hand is a hand with five cards (two hole/pocket cards and three community cards) with the value 8 or less. Straight and flush doesn't count when deciding the best low hand. However, straight and flush counts when deciding the best high hand. An Ace can be used both for high and low hand, which makes the best low hand 5-4-3-2-A, which can also be used as a straight for the high hand. A player can in other words win the whole pot by having both the best lowest hand and the best highest hand. If no player have a hand that qualifies for the low hand, the player with the best high hand wins the whole pot.
